Adam Taubitz is a world-class violinist who made his debut as a soloist with the Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 11.
In other stages of his music career he was:
- 1st concertmaster of the Basel Symphony Orchestra under Nello Santi.
- Artistic director of the Chamber Symphony Basel
- 1st principal of the 2nd violins with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under Claudio Abbado
For several years he has been a freelance musician as a violinist and trumpet player in various world-renowned jazz ensembles as well as in world-class classical formations.
In 1995 our collaboration began with the jive “Rock Lady” in the album “Piano For Lovers / Vol. 3“. In the latest album “Piano Jewels / Vol. 8” he supported me with his violin skills in 3 more music titles.
He also set a world speed record in 2013, this with the piece “Flight of the Bumblebee” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. He played this piece at an incredible speed of 53.0 seconds.
